a shot animation, or its keyframes to be more precise, I was inspired by one of optimus's trasformations this morning. probably will fully animate it as I can use it in the comic book or the club mission later on :) sry if it is a lil fast but alas, they ARE keyframes...not tweens...

This looks pretty good! Though there are steps missing, it would work very well with the comic you're planning.

if ur refering to the actual change frm robot to car there actually arent any frames missing...I recorded the transformation I based it on and studied every frame...apparently they make a white colour blink and cheat their way into the transformation...

Oh, ok. Now I get it. A blinding light where most of the transformation happens, gotcha.

I've been reviewing the episodes to try and figure it out and in allmost every case thats what we have...

Ah ok. Lol, I never really paid attention to the transformations. But what you did looks pretty good so far.

I am only just starting to seriously study the animated versions...they're not too hard to understand but the details are maddening..

Seriously. That's why I don't look at references unless I absolutely have to. Get hooked on the details...

like optimus, in truck mode he has these black stripe paint job on the bottom right? but when in robot mode that doesn't exist, hence the flickery light thingy!
I noticed that in the more developed transforming sequence they rarely show it goes off camera to hide it away :/ such details make it hard for one to learn when they are cheated upon, but I guess it IS hard to make transformations...
